DIRGE
The Dirge are a Dublin/Drogheda based hardcore punk band formed in winter 2010. Throughout the year we've put out a small four track demo with a Choking Victim cover at the end and have played numerous gigs around the country and The Whalestock festival. Drawing influences from numerous genres such as hardcore, ska, sludge and crust we've created our own silly, drunken, filthy racket that's fun for the entire family. Soon enough we hope to record a mini album whenever we get the money, concept will ofcourse be about suicide.......just for Steve :). Will play for food, beer, the almighty criac, a floor to sleep on, nothing.
